Rules, answers, and a way to reach us.

How to play

  1. Choose Human vs Human or Human vs Computer, then choose a board.
  2. In Computer mode, pick Odd or Even. The die determines who goes first.
  3. Select 1–3 unmarked circles. They must be adjacent and form one straight line without gaps.
  4. Tap Confirm. Players take turns until the board is marked.
  5. The player who marks the final circle loses.

Common questions

Why can’t I confirm my move?

Your selection must contain one to three available circles along one of the board’s straight lines. You cannot skip a marked circle. Tap a selected circle again to deselect it. Wait for the computer to finish before making your next move.

How do I create or delete a custom board?

On Choose Board, use the custom-board section to create a board. Place circles on the editor grid, choose a color, and save. The saved board can be played, edited, or deleted from the same section. Boards are stored on this device.

What is AI Power?

It reflects the computer’s local learning history, not a difficulty guarantee or player ranking. The computer learns from completed games. Use the reset control in Computer mode to erase its learning; this cannot be undone.

Can I play without an internet connection?

The game, music, custom boards, and computer opponent work locally. Ads, online help, and privacy messages require a connection. Unavailable ads do not stop a game.

How do I change advertising choices?

Open About & Privacy on the main menu. Privacy Choices appears when available for your region. You can also manage tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing tracking does not prevent gameplay or remove all ads.

Can I pay to remove ads?

No. Triangular Nim is supported by ads and has no in-app purchases. A banner may appear, and an interstitial may appear after every third completed game when available.

How do I mute music?

Use the music control on the game screen. You can turn the music back on with the same control.
